Green faceted teacup
Green faceted teacup
Wow where did this green come from. I don’t know what it is but I love it and want to make more. Pretty big teacup and very light so you can feel the weight of the liquid not the clay! Making these actually takes more time than making a mug. Once I spend so long trimming and checking and trimming and checking I then hold my breath and carefully scrape away making the facets. Often I’ll facet the entire thing only to push an ounce too much and destroy the entire thing. This was the only survivor of the batch.
